About
F.O.G. Academy is a technical workforce development center and an authorized Cisco Networking Academy. We specialize in Forensic Stewardship transforming untapped human potential and discarded technical assets into high-value community resources. Our primary process involves the PlayStation Professional Pipeline (P3) and CyberOps training, where we recruit system-impacted youth to master digital tradecraft.
Main Resources & Equipment: Our operations center utilizes enterprise-grade networking equipment (Cisco routers, switches, and server racks), high-performance computing labs for Data Analytics, and specialized tools for hardware restoration. Additionally, our Art of the Org Upcycle Studio utilizes industrial sewing machines and woodworking tools to reclaim furniture and textiles. By integrating high-tech hardware with physical reclamation, we provide a full-spectrum environment for both technical and creative restoration.
Why We're Green
The primary environmental challenge for a tech-heavy organization is the E-Waste crisis the rapid disposal of hardware and the high energy consumption of data centers. Historically, we faced a heavy reliance on new, resource-intensive hardware and the pervasive use of single-use plastics in technical packaging.
