About
The Green Canteen is located inside of TMCC’s William N Pennington Applied Technology Center. Due to the Center’s location, there aren’t any dining establishments within walking distance. Parking can also be an occasional issue at this location. For these reasons, the Green Canteen was established. It allows students and staff to get a quick meal without having to leave campus and give up their parking spaces. The Green Canteen features an assortment of fresh and frozen goods to give our customers a pick-me-up. We have coffee that’s brewed fresh every morning. We also have premade sandwiches and salads for the healthy bunch. Additionally, we offer more refrigerated goods, various noodle options and several frozen entrees. Lastly, we prepare hotdogs inhouse for our customers to enjoy.
Why We're Green
The Green Canteen is two of three Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) establishments that’s achieved a green business certification. Being green is not just our school color; it’s part of our identity. Sustainability is a key component of TMCC’s vision for the future.
