Why We're Green
With a strong commitment to support Santa Monica’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan Sun A implements the following policies in house:
• Using efficient electric heating over natural gas
• Maintaining high efficiency of energy and water use
• Adopting electronic document storage and processing when feasible
• Using reusable cleaning cloths instead of disposable paper towels
• Procuring 100% post-consumer recycled copy and tissue paper
• Reducing pollution with use of non-toxic cleaners rated by Green Seal and/or EPA Safer Choice, and chlorine free tissue paper
• In house operations emphasize reusing and reducing materials first, followed by recycling and composting
The firm promotes sustainable transportation by choosing locations accessible by walking, biking, longboarding, and public transit. Sun A participates in National Bike to Work Day every May, and Santa Monica’s Bike It! Walk It! Bus It! initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to climate action and sustainable transportation
