Founded in 2023 by Amy and Davey, Second Breakfast was born from a simple belief: that food is one of the most powerful ways to care for another person. Amy's grandfather Donald, a Navy cook, first taught her that baking is an act of patience and love. Davey's grandmother Ila La Rose passed down the same sentiment through jars of homemade raspberry jam made fresh every year. When both grandparents passed, the two found themselves doing what felt most natural, baking pies and keeping those memories alive. What started at home soon found its way into the hands of neighbors and friends, and Second Breakfast was born.

Today, Second Breakfast is more than a pie shop. It is a gathering place where time-honored baking traditions meet genuine hospitality, and where every bite is made with the intention of making someone feel at home. All for the love of pie.
