Why We're Green
Cascade Pest Control has had a relationship with Envirostars since 1995. It is often thought that Pest Control services or Exterminators have a disregard for the environment. Certainly not so for Cascade Pest Control our serivces help to protect both our personal environment and our colective enviornment. We have a strickt recycle program at our office and our vehicles. We have installed LED lighting with most being dimmable and maintan a lights off when not in use policy. We use a water efficent dishwasher for office flatware and dishes. We wash our vehicles at self service carwashes which reclaim and reuse the water. We work hard to time supply orders and minimize delivery days. When ever possible office staff utilizes public transit or ride share to commute into the office. Our HVAC system utilizes a programmable thermostat and settings are limited when we are not at the office. When not occupied the heat and cooling are limited. These are just a few examples.
